So, I've been back in Ogden Since Sunday. I've gone from being a mother of 1 to a mother of 5. I'm babysitting my 4 nieces and nephews, as well as Shelby, for two weeks while their parents are in Hawaii! Lucky for them. They are really good kids and the boys LOVE their Uncle Ben. Sadly, Ben has to be in Logan most of the time because of school and work but he comes when he can. The boys always ask me, "How many sleeps until Ben gets here?" They're pretty funny. The other two are twin girls, about 18 months old. I really feel like I have triplets with Shelby here too. I have a new respect for people with multiples and lots of young kids. It's hard work! Don't ever say you're just a stay at home mom, it's a full-time job. All the babies are constantly getting jealous of each other and frequently crawl around the house after me crying when I can't pick any of them up. We had a bout of throwing up the other day with Joshua and Shelby, it was a crazy day. I had to clean the kitchen floor twice and clean the carpet next to Joshua's bed as well. I didn't even get a shower that day and literally fell into bed with throw-up still in my hair. Gross! I had to call Ben's sister over the next day just so I could get a shower. Thankfully, Ben took off work today and came down early for the weekend. We even got to go to the store today since he's been here. We drove a van and all the seats were filled, most of them with car seats. I'm so glad Ben will be here for the weekend to help out. Only one more week to go.
On the brighter side, Ben got a call back from a company he applied for. He has an interview on December 17th and he would start mid-January. We are excited for the prospect even though it's not as much pay as we would like. At this point, however, we can't wait much longer for Ben to get a job. The good thing is that it's close to my parents, where we'll be living until we get a house. So, that also means we'll be moving in a couple of weeks as well, which I'm totally excited for. We've done our time in AV apartments and it's time to move on. I surely will not miss the cinder block walls.
I stole away for an hour to Ben's parents house to use the internet, so more to come later, with pics too!
